VYAPAM
VYAPAM - Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal also known as MPPEB - Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board is an autonomous body legalized by the State Government for conducting fake entrance test in the State.Vyapam Scam has probed many exams such as Food Inspector Selection test, Milk Federation Test, Subedar Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander Test, Police Constable Recruitment Selection Test.
Tricks
Vyapam has beautifully used some of the below mentioned tricks.
(1) The toppers of the exam or the practicing doctors(in case of PMT) were made to write the exam. Their photographs were being changed on the admit card and then after the test for counselling again it was changed to original. These was being mainly done by the Board Officials.
(2) In order to earn more money they made the undeserving candidates to be seated besides the above mentioned fake candidates.
(3) Another way would be that the undeserving candidates would leave their OMR sheets blank and they would only mark the answers that they are sure about. Then the corrupt Board Official would manipulate their records. In order to be saved from audits they would file an RTI and then fill the OMR according to the marks received in the manipulation.
(4) They may also leak the answer keys. This was exactly the scenario in the 2015 PMT. And this time it was being proved and hence, the exam is being conducted again.
After having a look at the tricks it reminds me of one movie. Yes! that is Munna Bhai MBBS. Sanjay Dutt acts very similar to the frauds being done by him in his medical college to pass the exam and the frauds done by the students to pass the PMT. Full Credit to them. Excellent tricks used. Well Done! Sir.

The Scam
The Beginning
Since the mid 1995s complaints were being launched regarding the fraud in the entrance test. In 2000 first FIR was found and then many cases of fraud started coming up. It went on till 2006. But in an audit conducted by the State Government it was revealed that the application forms were being destroyed in an unauthorized manner. Then there was a flood of complaints. Finally a committee was being set up and the investigation started in 2009. By July 2011 the MPPEB also suspected 145 but only 8 could be caught and imprisoned. Also by November 2011 the committee had released its report which found 114 candidates guilty.Hence the Government had cancelled the admission of those 114 candidates.
Now one thing was clear that the Scam was getting bigger and bigger and also on a large scale.
Also the Scam had started involving Politicians, Bureaucrats,Middlemen.
2013 MP-PMT
The Vyapam was into light again in the 2013 PMT. The exam was to be conducted on 7th of July. On the night of 6th July Police arrested fraud representatives from various hotels. The head of the Racket Jagdish Sagar was arrested from Mumbai. A list containing names of 317 students was found. Hence the State formed a STF i,e, Special Task Force. In December 2013, STF filed chargesheet against 34 accused with a report of 23000 pages.2015 AIPMT
AIPMT which was being conducted on 3rd May also had the interference of unfair means. In the examination hall 358 phone calls were being made from 72 mobiles. It was being proved that 44 students had used unfair means. I wonder did some of those bring 2 mobile phones! Really something to wonder. After being proved that unfair means were used SC ordered CBSE to re conduct the examination. Hoping that this time no unfair means are used giving fair chance to students.Charges On Chief Minister
During the investigations an IT consultant Prashant Pandey was being arrested by Police charging him to use the teams information to blackmail the Vyapam accused. As expected, he approached the National Congress Party and claimed himself as a Whistle blower. I wonder was he comparing himself to Edward Snowden and thinking that like China he would be protected. Mr Pandey had claimed that the investigating agency STF had altered the contents of the EXCEL sheet which contained the names of the accused. Digvijay Singh felt so happy that he would make Shivraj mama resign, he filed a 15 page affidavit after which the SIT had to investigate against respected CM. Both the Excel sheets were being send to the Forensic Lab. After examining the Excel Sheets the Lab release the report in which Shivraj was found innocent. Again Mr Pandey stands by his version which in my opinion is non sense. After being proved innocent Shivraj came back strong hitting all his critics hardly clamming everything to be fair.
Deaths!
Currently deaths regarding the Vyapam Scam seem to be a mystery. According to the report filed by the STF it claims that 23 people have died "unnatural" death. Whereas the State Government strongly recommends not to compare the deaths with the Vyapam Scam. It claims that thousands of people are associated with Vyapam and admitted every year. Also Babulal Gaur, the Home Minister claimed the deaths to be "natural",
Finally, after these mysterious deaths the CBI has been appointed to investigate. Its a great move to appoint the apex investigating agency of our country to investigate the Scam. Mr Sinha now its your 'turn to walk the talk'.
